Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

The services provided within the scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery clinical practices, which include a wide variety of conditions and problems, are as follows;

• Extraction of wisdom teeth,

• Extraction of impacted teeth,

• Extraction of normal teeth,

• Implant applications to complete missing teeth, and sinus lifting, graft applications when necessary,

• Diagnosis and treatment of tumors or cystic formations in the soft tissues and hard tissues of the mouth,

• Treatment of infections in the jaw, teeth and face area,

• Treatment of jaw and tooth fractures,

• Treatments of jaw joint diseases,

• Removal of soft tissue defects in the jaw bones and surrounding.

Surgical tooth extractions are performed by applying local anesthesia just like normal tooth extractions. In order to reach the tooth to be removed, first the gingiva is opened and the bone on the tooth is removed with special tools and tooth extraction is performed. Then the gingiva is closed with stitches and the stitches are removed a week later.
